Hi there!
Oh my… it’s already Friday. Time flies and I had another busy week as end of kids’ school term nears. There were more activities outside school lately. Outing, fun projects, preparation for farewell party, etc. But today, I finally had time to organize a bit of my ink pad collections. I managed to make new Color Swatch. This was fun! I will post this one later. Now it’s time for Case Study Challenge Card!
Below is the new challenge from this week’s Muse, Lisa Spangler.
A beautiful card with white embossing background. I was thinking… shall I “case” her with the same idea? Typical me… I like to search for other possibilities, but still using the same inspirations. So, today I made 2 cards with embossing on the background without using embossing powder.
I used embossing folder and the letterpress technique. I colored the embossing folder with Hero Arts Shadow Ink Soft Cantaloupe and I am very happy how it turned out. Here are the supplies to make this card:
Supplies:
Solid Card Stock: Orange Zest, Summer Sunrise, White Cardstock (Papertrey Ink).
Pattern Paper: North Country (Prima), Splash (Echo Park).
Stamps: Heart-2-Heart #11 (Papertrey Ink)
Dies: Circle Scalloped & Circle Dies (Spellbinder), Small Hearts Dies set (SSS)
Ink: Onyx Black (Versafine), Chocolate Chip (Stampin’ Up), Soft Cantaloupe (Hero Arts)
Miscellaneous: White ribbon (PTI) and Herringbone Embossing folder (Cuttlebug), dimensional stickers.
Since I had fun with the first card, I decided to make another one:)
Almost forgot to mention… I plan to send the first card for Maddy. Still have to think what to write to her.
