Feeling so Incredibly Blessed

Hi everyone!

Today I watched  a Japanese Drama. Iki mo Dekinai Natsu. Apparently, there is a law in Japan which states that if a child is born between a couple where the wife had been in a prior marriage less than 300 days ago, the child will be registered under the prior husband’s family register even if DNA tests prove that the child is that of the new couple. So, because of this rules and for some reasons, some mothers don’t register their children. This makes it difficult for the children because they don’t have citizenship to their own country, thus they cannot have ID card, passport, health insurance, etc. I wonder if the law still exists.

Today’s card will be a thank you card I made a few weeks ago.
